Graduation rate: The percentage of the number of students entering the institutions as undergraduate, full-time, first-time, degree-seeking in a cohort year who complete their program within 150% of normal time (6 years for bachelor's degrees, 3 years for associate's degrees, 1.5 years for certificates).
Transfer-out: Total number of students who are known to have transferred out of the reporting institution within 150% of normal time to completion divided by the year cohort.
Graduation-Rate Plus Transfer-out Rate is calculated as the total number of completers within 150% of normal time PLUS total number of students who are known to have transferred out of the reporting institution within 150% of normal time to completion divided by the year cohort.
Minorities category include all ethnicities except white, non-resident alien, and race/ethnicity unknown.
Total Rate: Overall graduation rate for all ethnicities including non-resident alien and unknown ethnicity categories.
Until 2009 the Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander category was included in the Asian category.
